Unlike Full HD with (1920 × 1080) - which is gradually becoming the standard today, 4K cameras offer a full resolution (4096 × 2160) which is 4 times sharper than Full HD. One of the clear advantages of such a high resolution is digital zoom capability. As the image is so sharp, one can therefore obtain a larger zoom before the image begins to become pixelated. In order to make use of 4K it is very important to choose recorders that support such high resolutions.
