Quality and price goes hand in hand
We at Sevecu are proud to offer a big product range within burglar alarms to private and professional use. We have several brand and it is not always easy to pick and prefer a brand if it is not something you work with every day. Our experience is that all products are very sensitive to quality. Therefore it is very important to keep in mind that quality and price goes hand in hand especially when it comes to burglar alarms.
Our recommendation is therefore
For private house owners we strongly recommend Chuango and Home8 burglar alarms mostly because both brands offer a lot value for money and because both brands are made of high quality. It is super to install which in other words means that you don’t have to be an IT expert in order to install it.
What are the main differences?
The main difference between the Home8 and Chuango burglar alarms is the pricing and functionality. Home8 is an American brand and require subscription via the App where Chuango does not require any subscription. Chuango Burglar alarms require either GSM (mobileline) or a PSTN (landline) as communication. However they also have a model that can work with both WiFi and GSM. We have put it together here:
Chuango Burglar Alarms:
- Chuango Burglar Alarm GO2 (Supports GSM)
- Chuango Burglar Alarm A11 (Supports PSTN)
- Chuango Burglar Alarm G5 (Supports GSM
- Chuango Burglar Alarm H4 (Supports WiFi and GSM)
- Chuango Burglar Alarm B11 (Support GSM and PSTN)
When it comes to Home8 the support options is narrower. As Home8 has focused only on developing burglar alarms that only require an internet connection.
For professionals
The requirements among business are often the security degree of the burglar alarm product. In order to know what degree of protection is required you need to consult that with your insurance company. Normally we would recommend Texecom and Pyronix for professionals.
